May 16, 2024, Pantum announced its self-developed A3 platform copier at the Yanqi Lake Convention & Exhib. Center in Beijing. The representatives of related governments at all levels, relevant technical experts, financial experts, business leaders, representatives of VIP customers from public sectors and enterprises, and well-known domestic medias were invited to attend this important product launching ceremony, in witness of the very moment that China’s first A3 laser copier with fully self-developed technology was born.

 Pantum has successfully built China's first fully self-developed A3 laser copier with independent intellectual property rights of this A3 platform, including control ASIC’s and other core components. With the announcement of this A3 product, Pantum has completely mastered the core technology of laser printer industrialization. It is a metamorphosis from zero to one, and from one to everything. It is a sign that Pantum has filled the technical blank of China domestic laser printer manufacture, and a sign that China laser printing industry has entered in a new era.

According to the IDC data, China A3 copier market has market cap as high as 1M units per year. Pantum’s new A3 platform covers ~75% of the mainstream market from the speed range perspective, with excellent functionality and performance among similar products. Pantum’s new A3 is focusing on intelligence, convenience, simplicity, and ease to use. With this new product, Pantum is capable of offering MPS solution to its customers that is efficient, intelligent and convenient, stable and reliable, easy to use and maintain, at an affordable printing cost.

In this ceremony, Pantum also announced its strategic partnership with JD. Both parties agreed to leverage its own advantages to expand the sales channels from Pantum to customers, including B2B and B2C channels, and to offer  one-stop solutions for more China users in more efficient manner.
